My painting starts with lived experience focusing on memory, feeling, and the experience of being human. I work mainly in oil, layering color and texture to show the gap between memory and now. Brushstrokes are intentional or spontaneous, letting the work change as I paint. I favor natural light and intimate subjects—rooms, figures, and objects with personal meaning—using a limited palette and quiet space so mood and story can appear without explanation.

Process matters as much as result. I move between looking, sketching, and painting, revisiting pieces over days or weeks to adjust gesture and tone. The work invites quiet reflection: it suggests a story but leaves room for the viewer. Commissions and prints are treated the same way, collaborative, careful, and grounded in real experience.
